Roald Dahl was peerless when it came children's literature, but he was perhaps not the right fit for a Bond screenplay. His story comes off as bizarre and unstructured, and it appears that this feeling rubbed off on the cast who never seem quite sure whether they want to be taken seriously.
A strange outing for 007.
