Review of Days of Heaven (1978) by Jez M — 20 Oct 2013
The scenery is prairie and is picturesque in its own right. Photography picks out the beauty and the repeated blandness making for an out of the ordinary visual that shrugs the mind. Actors take their parts to a deep place that forces the mind to make moral judgments on what is taking place.
Narration is rather odd and does not fit the scene. Nibbles: Cornflakes.
