The perfect classic bond movie. epic ken adams sets!!! hollowed out volcano base baby!! connery at his very badass best!! the definitive blofeld with his white cat! goodbye mester bond! how much does austin powers owe this movie!!! one of the greatest action set pieces of any of them.
little nelly step right up! john barry knocking it out of the park hitting all the action beats! exotic japanese locations. and a good old fashioned bond stopping world war 3 breaking out. a few duff moments, 007 pretending to be japanese!! really!! no real memorable bond girls! but despite that this one has it all.
epic action. a great theme tune. a tank with pirahnas!! excessive... yes... but the minute the twangy bond theme tune starts it doesn't matter. inventive. exciting. the last of the truly great connery films.
