Tarkovsky's last film. Died shortly afterwards of cancer, but what a breathtaking film to bow out on. Reminds me of Bergman this film. Great dialogue, beautiful landscape. A man destroys everything he owns in order to save his mute grandson and family from a nuclear breakout!
