Review of The Sacrifice (1986) by Florian P — 18 May 2012
Yes, it's slow, and at some points boring, but for some reason I just can't escape feeling that this film is very, very important. The colours all washed gray, completes the harmonious paring with the bleakness of the landscape.
The dialouge is draining and heartbreaking, yet realistic. This is definitely not a film for everyone, but for someone who is looking for a film with a deep, thought-provoking take on life and crisis, this is for you!
