Review of The Panic in Needle Park (1971) by Tally H — 05 Aug 2009
The basic theme of this movie - drugs are bad! Though I have grown to compare every movie with this content to Requiem For A Dream and none can compare, this movie did a good job of expressing the horrors of drug addiction.
It's sad to watch two likeable characters at the beginning grow into monsters dependant on heroin to get them through each day. Pacino has a very strong performance but be prepared for a huge downer.
