Review of The Panic in Needle Park (1971) by Nivas C — 30 Aug 2011
As Pachino's first major role in a film, he makes his way onto the screen well. The story flows well and characters give the easy plot a little more pepper. Although nothing astounding, and nothing to rave about, quite frankly something I might forget I watched tomorrow, this movie is fun to watch(always loved drug movies, especially about heroin, possible predisposition?) goes by quickly, and is a good representation of how anyone can do drugs, and how no matter the user it's all the same path, and an easy path to make never ending at that.
Shows how drug addicts really have no one in the end but their drug.
