Review of The Name of the Rose (1986) by Scott M — 11 Mar 2009
Whodunit set in the Middle Ages. Connery plays a logical, calculating Catholic scholar traveling to an abbey with his young apprentice, Slater. There, he finds that several of the monks have met their early demise due to unknown devices.
Perlman is horrifyingly terrific as a stuttering heretical hunchback.
