This is one of these timeless, classic you can watch countless times, you will still get sucked into it , entertained, amused, intrigued & fascinated by this unusual story about a priest & his pupil, going to an abbey to uncover the mysterious death of some monks, linked by a mysterious forbidden book.

Shot with talent & passion in an incredible natural set, this film is not only a great thriller, it is also a beautiful documentary about the life and customs of the dark ages of the Middle age era. A pure Masterpiece.
