Review of The Name of the Rose (1986) by Pablo G — 30 Nov 2017
4.2/5.
Im not sure of the way the film was received around 30 years ago, but now, the film stands strong as a profound and intriguing tale that makes even the most bizarre and unexpected of places, a monestery, the perfect location for a murder mystery filled with themes that are surely hard to replicate in a modern film with such class.
