Review of Panic Room (2002) by William H — 30 May 2013
There is one great tracking shot early in the film and the photography is not bad, which is why I'm rating this 1 and not 1/2 a star; the screenplay of this movie sucks big time. The story is totally unbelievable.
The acting of Whitaker and Foster is decent, the others are overacting and look ridiculous. I expected more from Fincher than a well directed but otherwise run-of-the-mill Hollywood thriller with an expected and cheap (happy) ending.
