Review of The Man Who Laughs (1928) by Alex L — 06 Oct 2008
Great old picture... no sound. Conrad Veidt is pretty amazing. I will definitely look into more of his movies. A little racy too, this new medium was titillating to the public I would imagine. Watched it because of its association with the Joker in Batman, although his Gwynplaine is the hero.
