Review of The Man Who Laughs (1928) by Brian C — 31 Jan 2015
Wonderfully tragic tale of a disfigured man who falls in love with a blind woman. There is lot of intrigue and twists and turns, but Conrad Veidt as Gwynplaine is amazing...despite the permanent smile his eyes show all of his emotion.
Brilliant acting and storytelling.
