Review of The Letter (1940) by Fredrik G — 24 Jun 2008
I always enjoy any movie with Bette Davis' name attached to it and I enjoyed this one as well. I would not consider this to be her best film, her acting was superb as always but the plot to me just didn't seem to grab me.
It was a bittersweet to watch the ending, but she had it coming to her, but it was still sad to see, and the last shot was very dramatic and contrasting.
