Review of The Good Lie (2013) by Johnny K — 21 Mar 2015
The movie would have benefitted from a deeper look at the treks of its main characters, and I had minor problems with the plot, but The Good Lie is still well-acted, riveting, and taught me something new.
The first 20-30 minutes were emotionally powerful, and it helps that some of the real 'Lost Boys of Sudan' were cast in the film. Verdict: A-.
