Though it isn't particularly remarkable, Kenneth Branagh's Cinderella is a pleasant surprise due to improving some aspects of the original (For example, less emphasis on the mice and giving Lady Tremaine some character) a pair of strong performances from Cate Blanchett and Lily James, and some splendid production values.
