Review of The Golden Voyage of Sinbad (1973) by Curtis M — 11 Apr 2008
Not as great as the seventh voyage of sinbad (my personaly favorite harryhausen flick) but it's still got some great sequences and fantastic creatures. The best of these sequences are the sword fight with the six armed Kali, and the statue from the front of a boat comming to life.
This film also has a scene that could have been the basis for the Rancor pit in return of the jedi, as it is very similar to that (though not quite as climactic).
