This is such a hard film to watch and it's not always easy.

It is a travesty knowing that the issue of sexual slavery is still going on in India and the rest of the world, children are bought and sold against their will because of their statuses, their last names and their skin color.

What's even more sad is that the little girls that are forced into the lifestyle prefer to live that way if it gets them food or an education.

The movie does have some terrific emotional payoff in the long run.

Despite all the constant religious exclamations it's still a good motivator for Caden to do something and be active about it.

The father and daughter are the real gem of the film.

At first it looks like a typical teen comedy then the tone shifts entirely to a darker, somber mood.

The visual gimmick with the subtitles is pretty creative, too even if it does hamper at times.

However you're willing to stomach the issue this film reminds us to take joy in what he have and look at the rest of the world in a new light and fashion.
