Review of Kiss the Ground (2020) by Sgmontoya — 26 May 2021
Informative, entertaining, inspiring, and hopeful. These are all words I’d use to describe Kiss the Ground, a climate documentary which focuses on reducing climate change through regenerative agriculture.
Woody Harelson’s charming narration breaks down how this method of farming has the power to increase biodiversity, enrich soils, improve watersheds, and enhance the ecosystem, all through using healthy soil to capture carbon that currently exists in the atmosphere.
The film’s directors, Josh and Rebecca Tickell, do a wonderful job at capturing the passion behind every testimonial given in the film. The beautiful shots of landscapes all around the globe, paired with the carefully explained science, and genuine and passionate story telling all culminate into a beautiful, engaging, and groundbreaking documentary.
Kiss the Ground offers something new to anyone watching it.
