Kiss the Ground is a documentary that -- in a dark sea of pessimism and doomsdayers -- provides a glimmer of hope for humanity’s survival amidst the climate change crisis. The film sports an all-star cast, quarterbacked by Woody Harrelson’s intoxicatingly-smooth narration, and includes the likes of actual quarterback Tom Brady.
An ensemble of celebrities, scientists, politicians, farmers, and activists all join together to empower the viewer to take real and actionable steps to concretely fight climate change -- namely through the power of soil regeneration.
Kiss the Ground is not a film that plays on guilt, nor fear; instead, directors Joshua and Rebecca Tickell play on hope. Kiss the Ground says that there is hope yet for humanity, and it is surely worth a watch if you wish to rekindle that spark of hope that most media surrounding the climate crisis has long since extinguished.
