Review of Final Cut (1993) by Cade H — 30 Oct 2009
What would the world be like if a chip could be put in your head to record everything you do in life through your eyes? The concept was cool and most of the movie was done very well but some parts just ruined it.
They could have taken the ideas a lot further but they never did. The movie had some shining moments regarding looking back in peoples past to discover bad things that they did but one major flaw let me down.
The whole movie was leading up to final ending...a man died and they were trying to find some dirt on him through his memory chip, they let you know he did something bad but not what he did. At the end of the movie they cut to credits before you actually know what he did!! It was like they took out the whole ending and wanted the viewer to keep wondering for a sequel only there is not and will not be one :(.
