Review of Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) by Cade H — 03 May 2016

Winter Soldier was one of the better Marvel movies I have seen. The first Captain America was a little slow and not that good in my book, but this second film set in modern day ramped up the action and storyline and really packed a punch.

While Cap was always the center of attention, it was nice that they made the other super heroes such as Falcon and Black Widow a very big part of the film as well. The main bad guy, The Winter Soldier was incredibly badass and they did an amazing job with the multiple hand to hand combat scenes.

Things did drag on a bit to long but there was stuff that needed to shown and told to develop the storyline so it was ok. Winter Soldier may be a "superhero" film but it could stand alone as a normal action movie because the scope of things are kept rather realistic and down to earth and the plot is strong enough to hold its own.

If you weren't to high on the original Cap, check this one out and it will redeem your faith in the American Hero.
