Review of Dixie Chicks: Shut Up and Sing (2006) by Elise C — 09 Mar 2008
Shows the Dixie Chicks warts and all, and there are some warts... Natalie comes off a total brat, willing to get the whole group in trouble to speak her mind. It is interesting to see the "Chicks'" astonishment that Natalie's remarks could be taken so seriously by a conservative fan-base, their hopes that the furor could help their career, and the obviously orchestrated and coordinated attacks against them.
I found that the skips back in forth in time took away from story and did not see any reason the story could have been told chronologically.
