Review of Dixie Chicks: Shut Up and Sing (2006) by Seth M — 04 Oct 2012
Wonderful documentary on the period of time when the Dixie Chicks were everyones' favourite band to bash. Everyone of course later apologized to them when the Bush administration was no longer as popular as it was post 9-11.
The best part of the film is the interplay between Natalie Maines at the rest of the band. You almost get a sense that the others perhaps wished that Natalie had actually just stuck to singing.
