Who'd wanna be labelled a liberal in the U.S.? Judging by what the Dixie Chicks went through earlier this decade, it would not be a pleasant experience.
These lovely Texan ladies gotta whole lotta hate for uttering one sentence about George W Bush and they tackled the onslaught in a very dignified way.
They just continued to do what they do best: have some babies, make some music and support each other.
Watching the insecurity of the extreme right wing in the American heartland, whether it be the media, the country music scene or just the general public, is a very scary thing.
You dont need to be a fan of the Dixie Chick's music to be amazed, entertained and moved by this doco, but you may be more of a fan once you have.
