Review of Chrysalis (2007) by Bryan F — 04 Sep 2009
From the synopses I was not expecting much, but it was really quite good. I was relying on subtitles, so the experience of the original French may vary. Definitely aiming to make a film rather than just a movie, and succeeded much of the time.
I like that it's futuristic, but not blatantly Sci-Fi, and the future technology was seamless and natural. The acting was mostly good, really liked the two leads, and the cinematography was great.
