Review of Chrysalis (2007) by Simon W — 20 May 2009
The french really are good filmmakers. The story doesn't offer anything new or exciting, but this movie does have some decent fight scenes and the stylish way in which it was filmed was nothing short of spectacular.
The camera work kept this movie interesting. The inventive cinematography was the real star of the show, and you could tell that it was crafted by an artist. I had never heard of Julien Leclercq, but rest assured now I will be watching for anything he does.
