Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. Benoit Debie does an amazing job with the cinematography, but I would expect no less from the man who worked on Irreversible.
As far as the story goes, Fabrice Du Welz follows the usual horror cliche, but then turns it upside down and all around. He explores new grounds while paying homage to all those classic gritty 70 horror flicks.
