A slow descent into the fire, turning the viewer into the frog that doesn't know it's cooking until it's dead. The parts of this movie that don't make you squirm are few and far between, not out of goriness, but sheer unsettling abnormality.
A more insane Chainsaw Massacre, where the slaughter has been traded for the perversely unsettling.
