Review of Zardoz (1974) by Jon T — 09 Jun 2018
A real marmite movie. I am in the 'its Great' camp. This is genuinely different from anything else you will ever see. As everyone says it's a hoot having Sean Connery in thigh boots and a red loin cloth.
Lots of interesting ideas about mortality and killing your own God. I dont know how the cast kept straight faces in a lot of this. Magnificent plus Charlotte Rampling. Who can resist?
