Review of Zardoz (1974) by Tico P — 18 Jun 2007

I love this movie directed by John Boorman. Sean Connery runs around in a red diaper in this one as an exterminator out to eliminate survivors of a worldwide catastrophe. A flop when released ,the 4 million dollar budget almost ruined Boorman's career.

Still it's a great watch full of weird characters and a zany plot. The liner " the gun is good, the penis is evil!" stands out all on its own. If you like weird 70's science fiction, this is absolutely mandatory viewing.

But don't go looking for answers or plot points. Zardoz might be floating around the corner.
