Review of You Only Live Twice (2007) by Baurushan J — 04 Jan 2013
God this franchise is really starting to go downhill and I thought Thunderball was boring so this is You Only Live Twice. Well the story is about James Bond visiting the East so it's obviously going to be a James Bond meets martial arts story.
The British intelligence discovers that some sort of UFO has crashed into the Sea of Japan (I don't know where the hell they got that from). Anyway, Agent 007 is obviously sent to investigate whilst teaming up with a couple of Japaneses whilst disguising himself as one of them and discover that the American and Russian space missions were actually scuttled by a supercriminal played by Donald Pleasance who wants to take over the world.
This movie was a boring uninteresting movie with not much appealing storyline nor character like the first three James Bond movies in history. Sean Connery as James Bond seems to be slacking as well along with the film and it's sad that this was this second last film as his iconic role ever.
You Only Live Twice gets a 6/10.
