Review of Wild Strawberries (2012) by Bert R — 21 Oct 2008
A movie list I compile will not be complete without a Bergman movie. Hehehe. It?s obvious at this point, I?m a Bergman buff. In this complex, surreally-nostalgic drama, Bergman uses wild strawberries to metaphorically resemble aging, death, childhood, the human psyche, emotion, and a whole lot more.
Wild strawberries are one of the most common fruits to devour in the midst of a forest to quench hunger, but some do possess poisonous qualities.
