Nerdy high school computer hacker unknowingly hacks into the U.S. Army's missile control center and unleashes some massive hysteria once he realizes that he has accidentally triggered an impending World War Three.

The usual crowd of Brat Pack enthusiasts will be head over heels for the pairing of Sheedy (The Breakfast Club) and Broderick (Ferris Bueller's Day Off) while video game junkies will drool over the fact that it might be possible to toy with the U.

S. military system (oops). Surely, the U.S. government must have given second thought to its nation's security while viewing this thrilling little doomsday device? Doubtful, but this sort of film belongs in a computer nerd's wildest fantasy, especially since Broderick is ideal as the type of naive hacker that might be foolish enough to escape a government system with a video game.

Thrills and chills combined with the most emotionless computer voice since 2001's HAL make up for the improbable plot devices.
