Ferris Bueler is slack genius computer hacker who happens upon a backdoor to the NORAD computer system. He thinks he is just playing a game as the USSR, but is tracked and the FBI arrests him. He has trouble trying to convince those in charge that the computer program is dangerous and could lead to WWIII.
A real timepiece for sure, telling of the fears of the era.
