Review of Vice (2018) by Lewisdanny — 23 Jan 2019
The acting carries this movie; Bale, Adams and especially Steve Carrell (masterful performance of Rumsfeld) are the saving grace of a film that has tonal issues that The Big Short NEVER had. So much inaccuracy of factual events, and strange pacing mean there is little to recommend this film.
Easily one of the highly-talented Adam McKay's worst films by a significant margin.
