Review of Touch of Evil (1958) by Milton B — 16 Aug 2008
Touch of Evil is so creative in so many ways that it's hard to single out any one thing or performance. But Welles's direction and performance are incredible not to mention Akim Tamiroff's performance as well.
I do prefer the Henry Mancini opening music instead of the restored background music, but whatever music and whatever version, theatrical or restored this movie is brilliant. I've probably seen it 15 times at least.
