Review of Touch of Evil (1958) by Chris C — 25 Oct 2012
Film noir at its finest, very dark and tells the story of a corrupt police captain who aids a Mexican mobster in covering up the crime of attempted murder on a politician who is getting in the way of the mobster kingpin.
The story ends with the police captain murdering the mobster kingpin because he had blackmail on the captain for aiding him, then he makes the murder of the kingpin look like the politician Vargas committed it.
.....GREAT STORY.
