Review of The Young and the Damned (1950) by Ryan K — 12 May 2013
Tough, gritty, bleak, realistic little masterpiece by the great Luis Bunuel on the harsh realities of poverty, especially for children who fight for survival on the streets of Mexico and have little choice but to turn to criminal activities.
Excellently written, directed, shot (in black and white), and acted, this is a perfect little film.
