Some amusing characters, somewhat overwrought and dated, but an interesting period piece dealing with how the children of a pastor felt anything but the warmth and comfort of growing up in a religious household as well as the loneliness of being a pastor as everyone suspects he will be pious and judgmental instead of supportive and understanding.
