Review of The Wiz (1978) by Barry P — 20 Mar 2018
This movie is full of amazing performances and most everyone does a great job of re-imagining their characters. My only complaint is that Evilene didn't make an earlier entrance (as the Wicked Witch of the West did in the original) and cause more trouble.
Lion's performances are somewhat forgettable, but never the less I could watch it over and over again.
