Review of The Way We Were (1973) by Robert R — 26 Feb 2016
It may be a bit of a chore for those with a short attention span or an idealistic understanding of love, but the devoted performances and beautiful songs seem to help cushion the melodramatic blow dealt by this 1973 piece from Sydney Pollack.
Noted moments of emotional potency aside, "The Way We Were" is decidedly far from either Streisand or Redford's best.
