Review of The Unbelievable Truth (1990) by Genki M — 12 Jun 2007
Watched this again recently having only just heard about the tragic death of Adrienne Shelly. Trying to explain who she is and who Hal Hartley is is nigh on impossible. The best thing to do is stick it on and watch it.
Truly a great great example of what low budget US independent films were capable of at the zenith of that period. She will be missed. Looking forward to 'Waitress'.
