Review of Thief (1981) by Anthony I — 11 Jun 2015
I lasted about an hour before I got bored to tears. For a great director, this is such a boring first film. None of the characters, I could sympathize with or care about. James Caan, normally a great actor, sounds like he's doing a bad Robert DeNiro impression as the main character.
It's best you skip this one, and just jump straight into his later works.
