I recently watched this again. Milan Kundera's book was so very beautiful and Daniel Day Lewis and Juiliet Binoche brought it to life. I first saw this in England when I was 18. Pow! What a huge impact it had on me.
I love the leaving and the coming back. The choices that one makes that change you...and the choices that are made for you.
