Review of The Unbearable Lightness of Being (1988) by Christopher S — 12 Feb 2012
One of the best and most underrated films I have ever seen. Daniel Day-Lewis is one of the best actors of my generation and although he rarely gets much credit, one could see his talents throughout this film.
A young Juliette Binoche is equally amazing and the chemistry between the two are electrifying. The film was slow and it did not stay completely with the novel (such as Tomas's son) but the film was one of the best love stories and films of all time.
