Review of The Third Man (1949) by Adrian B — 09 Jun 2010
The Third Man film wipes out anything I saw in the past week in terms of action and storyline. It is so cool. The first major aspect is the storyline, with its shocking twist with the character Lime. Second, is the thrilling chase in the sewer.
Third, is the camera angles that are used throughout each scene of the film. Finally, the score. No film noir I have seen has had a score as unusual or peculiar as this. The score is something else and it adds humour and an thrilling impact to the film.
Great masterpiece.
