Review of The Thing (1982) by Anthony G — 27 May 2017
It's been some time, but 'The Thing' has finally recieved substantial amount of respect from moviegoers. The reason being is that this film is a rare example of a profound remake. It's a more grimmer recreation of the 1951's version because it took their best qualities and reinventing them in a more startling and imaginative way.
Carpenter's direction was so magnificent that he even outmatched the genre's showrunner, Aliens, by creating one of the scariest films of all time.
