Review of The Sons of Katie Elder (1965) by Joel A — 27 Jan 2013
The story of Katie Elder's sons out on a vengeance mission to avenger their father that was murdered.
A few good scenes here & there but it failed to grab me over all as a film. John Wayne as usual was the 'Man' in every sense.
Labelled as psychological Western but I found it a tad small minded in it's approach, however good music & cinematography pushed the film forward.
