Review of The Sons of Katie Elder (1965) by Brandon V — 11 Apr 2012
I don't consider myself a big western fan, but there are a few that just totally knock my socks off (I hate that term but whatever). This isn't one of them. It's decent, competently staged and the cast's dynamic is interesting in certain scenes, but even John Wayne can't save the movie overall from being so incredibly familiar.
